Team Noon, a cartoon series about the scientific miracles in the Quran, follows Zahra, Jasser, and Robo as they travel far and wide, hoping to learn new things and often getting into trouble along the way.
The first season has twenty episodes (a total of 4 hours and 40 minutes ), with every two episodes focusing on one ayah (verse) of the Quran. For example, in one pair of episodes, they travel inside the body to learn about embryonic development and about the ayah: “Verily, We created man from an extract of clay.
The other scientific phenomena that Jasser, Robo, and Zahra explore include the following:
The expansion of the universe (Quran 51:47)
The existence of chlorophyll (Quran 6:99)
The wind’s role in the fertilization of plants (Quran 15:22)
The protective powers of the atmosphere (Quran 86:11)
The mountains as pegs and stabilizers (Quran 78:6)
The phases of embryonic development (Quran 23:14)
The true weakness in a spider’s web (Quran 29:41)
Strong deep-sea currents (Quran 24:40)
The origin of iron in space (Quran 57:25)
The creation of the earth to support life (Quran 67:15)
This series is unique in that it teaches about the scientific miracles mentioned in the Quran in a fun way that kids will love. The language is very clear so that kids can understand every word.
