Salaam is the universal greeting of Muslims the world over, and Salaamun Salaam is a celebratory song reminding us that as Muslims, we live and strive for peace. We turn to Allah as the provider of peace within hearts.
The song has been on three of Zain’s albums. In ‘A Way of Life’ (1994) under the label of Yusuf Islam, then later on ‘Our World’ (2002) as a duet with Khalid Belhrouzi from France, and it was remastered in 2014 for Zain Bhikha’s ‘Songs of a Soul’ album.
